Quality Standards for Listings and Guides
ServerVote is building a reputation system, not just a directory. These standards explain how we treat listings, guides, and commercial visibility so players and server owners know what to expect.
Core principles
- We prioritize player usefulness over raw listing volume.
- Sponsored visibility never guarantees indexation or immunity from moderation.
- Spam, impersonation, deceptive metadata, and unsafe community links may be removed.
- Imported listings must still clear quality thresholds to remain indexed.
Sponsored placement
Boosts can improve visibility, but they do not override safety, quality, or indexing rules. Paid promotion is a growth layer on top of trustworthy content, not a substitute for it.
